Caroline Dale leaves her boyfriend, John England, who’s struggling with demons about drugs, race, sex, and his place as a white male in a world that increasingly takes white men out of the spotlight in favor of women and people of color. She can no longer stand with him while he figures out his place in the world. But when she meets Montgomery and Johanna and learns about a radical new sexual meditation healing practice whose adherents want to change the world in favor of women’s liberation, her life changes faster than she can keep up, and she finds herself involved with forces she doesn’t yet understand. Can Caroline and England find sobriety and their own respective places in the world, with or without each other?
