The interloper has been moving all over the world, from woman to woman, family to family, for as long as he can remember. He meets an attached woman; he seduces her; he feeds off her husband’s life energy. In the meantime, the seduced woman lives her best life, alive with possibility, pleasureful and free. When he leaves, the husbands slowly recover, but the women – the women change forever, bereft of desire and purpose.
Determined to end the cycle, the interloper begins to starve himself, staving off all human contact until he dies. But fate has something else in store for him.
In the Arizona desert just outside Phoenix, a woman versed in a plethora of healing arts from the last millenia thinks she knows how to cure the interloper of his disease. But a scorned lover from the interloper’s past has tracked him down and wants him dead.
Will the interloper finally know happiness without the consequence of someone else’s ruin?
